Busy, busy, busy..

I collected a new (an completely unexpected) job yesterday from one of my most important clients. I have to design four display panels that will be illuminated from behind. All the images and copy has been supplied, although the text needs editing to make it read better.

The designs need to be completed and approved by the end of this week to give the printers time to produce them before they close for Christmas next Friday (21st December).

Best carry on with them then!

New PA...

My new PA - others may call her wife - has excelled herself in the past seven days.

Sarah has put all my most pressing appointments, site visits and work, client visits etc onto Outlook. The info is now safely transferred to my Blackberry and I am prompted with each appointment - the past week has seen a great improvement in my efficiency and less - I have still been known to stress - angst.

A good PA - just what I wanted as an early Christmas gift.

Suppliers...

Just received phone calls from two suppliers with whom I placed orders yesterday for delivery today. Guess what?

Both cannot now deliver today. Despite assurances when ordering that delivery was OK for Tuesday. My day is now a mess and jobs planned for tomorrow and Thursday are in jeopardy.

Good news! One of the deliveries was made late this afternoon, allowing me sufficient time to get some graphic panels ready.
